EXPO 2020, DUBAI WORLD TRADE CENTRE

Expo 2020 Dubai invited proposals to design a 15x6 meter stand at the Annual Investment Meeting, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The brief stated that the graphics had to appeal to international business visitors and engage conversation around Expo 2020 Dubai’s three sub-themes: Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability.

Miraj proposed several value-added features in addition to dynamic design options. It seemed important that we utilize the opportunity to create broader awareness of what the Expo would do for the people of Dubai.

Due to clarity of proposal, design quality and innovative Experiential Marketing initiative, Miraj secured the contract.

BOROUGE THE 13th INTERNATIONAL PLASTICS & PETROCHEMICALS TRADE FAIR, RIYADH INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION AND EXHIBITION CENTER (RICEC)

Hundreds of local, regional and international exhibitors, chambers and agencies, and thousands of professional visitors gathered under one roof for the 13th International Plastics & Petrochemicals Trade Fair.

Miraj designed and installed an elegant stand for Borouge, a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions in the region. The modern curved shape design created a friendly and welcoming appeal that attracted visitors and showcased innovative plastics solutions and highlighted the company’s role in development of plastic packaging industry.

Overall, Borouge’s distinctive stand made a positive impression on the many participants at the show, including major plastics and petrochemical companies in the Kingdom and the region.

FALCONCITY OF WONDERS LLC CITYSCAPE GLOBAL DUBAI WORLD TRADE CENTRE

Falconcity of Wonders is a unique project that hosts the Seven Wonders of the World, commercial centers, a signature theme park, family centers, sports facilities, educational institutes, in addition to more than 5,500 residential units. Miraj was commissioned to design an exhibition stand (18x33 meters) that would be fully functional with space earmarked for model displays.

It needed to have an ambience that would reflect Falconcity’s living standards and luxury. Functionality was also a key requirement, with space allocated for meeting areas and a double decker section to excite very important visitors and prospective investors. Pitched against some of the biggest names in real estate development, the stand had to be impressive through sheer design and fabrication.

Miraj delivered on all counts and created an engaging experience for visitors. Large open spaces allowed for free movement between the display models. Special nodes for iPad displays were provided for greater interaction between Falconcity and its guests. An experiential feature in the design allowed for visitors to establish a connection between the seven wonders and Falconcity, and also join in a song and dance program that was performed by artistes specially flown in for the event.

GRE - LONDON RESTATEX

GRE Assets is an investment company that specializes in UK Real Estate, identifying opportunities that generate solid rental returns, combined with compelling prospects for future growth. To promote its property at the Brighton Marina, GRE participated in the Restatex Exhibition at Riyadh to drive business from the region. The Brighton Marina vision lay in its powerful message, inviting the world to imagine and create a future built on collaboration, innovation and connectivity. To highlight this fact, Miraj used breathtaking fluid graphics combined with key messages to capture and communicate this vision to the visitors.

The design concept was futuristic and inspired by Brighton Marina’s shape and the design, integrating dedicated areas that focus on the Marina lifestyle. The stand served as a hub, showcasing the event, the brand, the key message and themes while engaging with visitors throughout the event.

MILITARY INDUSTRIES CORPORATION (MIC) INTERNATIONAL DEFENCE EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE (IDEX), ABU DHABI

Military Industries Corporation (MIC) invited proposals to design and manufacture a 20 x 26.5mtr exhibition stand for participating in the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX), the only international defence exhibition in MENA.

MIDC through its participation at IDEX wanted to demonstrate its latest technology at the booth. Miraj was awarded the contract due to its stylish and innovative booth design concept presentation.

The design towered high with symbolic monuments and curved arches. At the heart of the booth was a bulletshaped structure that quickly attracted and engaged the attention of the visitors. Stylish slanting arches provided a portal-like effect to the booth. 3 designated areas were designed to provide focus for specific exhibits by MIC. Designated meeting areas were situated on the mezzanine level, overlooking the booth. The booth was fabricated and installed by Miraj and gained lot of visibility during the exhibition.

SAUDI ARAMCO CHEMICALS YANBU AND DHAHRAN, SAUDI ARABIA

Saudi Aramco is the world’s top exporter of crude oil and natural gas liquids. Its role in the Kingdom’s chemicals industry is growing and accelerating with a strategic shift towards greater participation designed to increase the local economic footprint of the company’s chemical investments. To deliver this message, Aramco Chemicals planned to improve visibility through exhibitions and conferences. As one of the first in a series of exhibition stands, the challenge was to understand the applications of its chemicals business and implement them as graphics on the stands. The design had to stand out and distinguish itself from other Saudi Aramco exhibition concepts. An exclusive brand element had to be conceived that expressed Aramco Chemicals’ identity.

Miraj created an exclusive palette of colours that conveyed the nature of chemicals. The stand design incorporated large backlit images to deliver a clear, uncluttered message. Fabricated and installed by Miraj and supported by an excellent logistics unit, it was used at different locations from Yanbu to Dhahran. The design continues to be an inspiration for all Aramco Chemicals exhibition stands.

SADARA MEPEC, BAHRAIN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION CENTRE

Sadara Chemical Company is a joint venture developed by Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemicals. It is an unprecedented undertaking, the largest chemical complex ever built in the world in a single phase.

With 26 integrated world-scale manufacturing plants and over 3 million tons of capacity per year, Sadara is a ‘game changer’ in the petrochemicals industry. Sadara wanted to highlight this aspect within an exhibition booth spread over 120 sq m.

Miraj set out to design a stand that would be consistent with Sadara’s brand identity and at the same time reflect a ‘game changing’ concept. The idea was to maintain an industrial look, and yet retain a people-friendly attitude.

The Sadara story needed to be communicated and above all, the message ‘Creating Value through Chemistry’ had to be loud and clear. Miraj decided to focus on the core messages and keep the stand simple, open and friendly. Dominated by white spaces, the branding and brand elements were clear, focused and visible. Through product displays and images, the ‘game changing’ concept was well communicated. Supported by a crisp, free flowing structure, the Stand was one of the best designed based on aesthetics and functionality.

OILSERV
BAHRAIN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION CENTRE

OILSERV is an independent Oilfield Service Company serving clients across the Middle East and North Africa region.

Miraj helped OILSERV showcase its expertise at MEOS 2017 (Middle East Oil and Gas Show) which was held in Bahrain. The display featured large graphics with dynamic images of the industry set in circular light boxes. Set in the corporate orange colour scheme of OILSERV, the whole booth stood out in the hall, attracting a lot of footfall, fulfilling the objectives of OILSERV’s participation program.

KOOHEJI JEWELLERY BAHRAIN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION CENTRE

Kooheji Jewellery is one of Bahrain’s leading fashion jewellery outlets, representing some of the leading global brands. Each year, the company participates in the annual Jewellery Arabia exhibition with a stand that befits its stature and reputation.

Miraj was entrusted with designing a stand that would help Kooheji Jewellery make a great impression to increase footfall and sales. Miraj wove a magical experience around the brand by replicating an actual showroom in 15x6 meter space.

The design presented “jewellery” at the heart of the stand drawing huge crowds to its finesse and beauty.

The stand was one of the most creative spaces at the event testifying to Miraj’s strengths in design and fabrication.

TASNEE MIDDLE EAST PETROTECH, BAHRAIN

The 9th Middle East Refining and Petrochemicals Conference and Exhibition (Middle East Petrotech) was held in Bahrain. The theme for the exhibition was “Downstream Value Chain Integration Opportunities” that set the foundation for the pace-setting technical program.

Miraj helped Tasnee utilize the opportunity to display its expertise in the petrochemicals sector through a 12x8 meter exhibit that featured an elegant design with ePosters, product display, high quality graphics and even a meeting area. The booth attracted large numbers of guests, fulfilling the objectives of Tasnee’s participation program.
